How to prepare for the hiring process
Ready to apply for an internship or a full-time role at Tynoc? Here is what you will need and how to put your best foot forward.
1
What you'll need
- An updated resume.
- An up-to-date transcript from your university (unofficial is fine).
- A regularly checked email address — this is your primary contact point.
2
Focus on your resume
- Align your skills and experience with the role, paying attention to the minimum qualifications.
- Be specific about projects: what was the outcome, and how did you measure success?
- Include projects or coursework that demonstrate relevant skills.
- Keep it short. Aim for one page and make key information easy to find.
3
Prepare for the interview
- We review resumes on a rolling basis, so timelines can vary.
- Expect a series of assessments or interviews that gauge your skills.
- For technical interviews, practice coding on a whiteboard or in a shared doc.
- Structure your answers: show how you reach a solution and don't be afraid to ask questions.
Helpful questions to think about
- How do you work best, both on your own and as part of a team?
- What challenges have you faced at school or work, and how did you overcome them?
- What was the impact of a project or accomplishment you're proud of?
- Which of your skills or experiences would be assets in the role, and why?
